Thomas explains how he can contribute something significant to the Tennessee program.
Tennessee has recently been after many pass catchers on the recruiting trail, including Lower Cape May Regional High School wide receiver Braswell Thomas. Thomas stands 6-2 and 185 pounds and ranks as the No.
675 prospect in the 2025 class, according to the 247Sports’ Composite Rankings. The Volunteers have been after for quite some time now, and he recently spoke with Volunteer Country to update his recruitment.
“My recruitment is definitely going well. I’m definitely having fun trying to keep everything focused and keep up the hard training.
” Following his opening statement, Thomas was asked which schools had stood out to him. “Syracuse does, for sure, as does Tennessee. Hopefully, I can get some more good looks on my next visits,” the talented 2025 prospect stated. He took the time to say why Syracuse and Tennessee stood out. Syracuse:
“I am really close with Coach Fran [Brown], and the environment, even just at the football game, was great. Also, I can’t wait to see their new renovations and things as well!” Tennessee: “Coach [Josh] Heupel is a very outgoing person, man. And I love the competitiveness out there for real.
A very special place and great culture as well.” He was asked about his relationship with the Tennessee staff and responded, “My relationship with Tennessee is great. I have a great relationship with Coach Heupel and a few others on the staff because they keep in contact every day.
” Thomas believes he can bring something key to a program like Tennessee. “I would bring a great deal of competitiveness, and I’d work for my team endlessly and dedicate myself as perfectly as possible.” He has a few scheduled visits; however, he does plan to add more to his list. Thus far, Thomas has an unofficial visit to Pittsburgh on February 3 and an official visit to Nebraska on June 13.
