Meet The 22-Year-Old Kiwi Who Just Beat The Record For Tiger Woods Wins.

The majority of professional golfers will admit that it’s difficult to win. However, Kazuma Kobori, 22, may not necessarily concur with that assertion given that he won this week for the third time in his last four starts.

The New Zealander, who was born in Japan and plays on the PGA Tour of Australasia’s Challenger tier, won the Webex Players Series Sydney on Sunday at Castle Hill Country Club after defeating players such as former World No. 52 Brendan Jones and current LPGA Tour member Jenny Shin.

Kobori checked four rounds during the 60s and rose up out of a four-way portion of the lead on Saturday to bank Au$45,000 and top the list of competitors. His fantasy Sunday, which saw him end on 24-under for the competition, was generally helped by a run of four birdies in five openings on the front nine and a total shortfall of intruder all through.

Eventually, he was a single shot clear of Shin notwithstanding the South Korean player birdying 17 and 18 for solo second. Addressing PGA of Australia media staff, Kobori said: ” It was one of those days when things didn’t really click right away, but I knew that if I just stayed patient, things would work out in my favor, and I’m very grateful that they did.

What makes Kobori’s shocking run of structure much more unique is that his most recent achievement showed up in only his tenth beginning as an expert. The main other player in male golf history to get three successes in his initial 10 master begins was Tiger Woods.

“Sounds great,” he said in light of hearing the measurement. ” Presumably need to get a couple of additional successes added to my repertoire to be in the very discussion as that man, yet it seems like I am in good shape.”

Like individual ace, David Micheluzzi, Kobori turned down potential chances to go through different Q-School competitions to attempt to fashion his vocation through his home visit. The 22-year-old currently sits in second place, indicating that this appears to have been a very good decision.

As well as a knock in the Request for Legitimacy, Kobori has procured extra focuses on the OWGR for various successes in a single year. Examining his ideal way towards the top, Kobori said: ” I settled on a strong decision this year not playing Asian Visit Q School, rather focusing on different Visits and stuff, so really content with how it’s going. It would be pretty cool to rise in my world ranking after that.”
