The Pittsburgh Steelers are still not sold on the idea that their franchise quarterback is on the roster, despite the fact that they selected Kenny Pickett in the first round just two years ago. For Mike Tomlin’s team, three different quarterbacks started last season. Some way or another, they actually came to the postseason, however nobody at any point saw the Steelers as a genuine Super Bowl competitor.

Clearly, the group would like that to change this offseason. The hiring of former Atlanta Falcons head coach Arthur Smith as the new offensive coordinator has already resulted in a significant shift in the offense. Presently there are some who accept Smith could re-join with one of his previous quarterbacks from his days as the Titans’ playcaller.
In the mean time, Tannehill gives off an impression of being a solid match in Pittsburgh, particularly since he played for new Steelers hostile facilitator Arthur Smith for two seasons from 2019 to 2020. It’s anything but a stretch to say those were the two greatest long periods of Tannehill’s vocation, and he even has an Expert Bowl to show for it.
Even though Tannehill will turn 36 before the 2024 season begins, at the very least, he can offer Pickett, who turns 26 in June, valuable advice. Otherwise, a player with 151 regular-season starts and five playoff starts is a good backup.
