ARSENAL PLAYER COMPLETES TRANSFER TO BRIGHTON ON FOUR-YEAR DEAL
Brighton and Hove Albion have reportedly completed the signing of an Arsenal forward on a four-year contract this summer
Amario Cozier-Duberry, a promising player in the Arsenal youth, has signed a free move to Brighton & Hove Albion.
The teenage winger has committed to a four-year contract at the Amex Stadium, and opportunities to play for the first team are anticipated for the upcoming season. The move was confirmed by journalist Sam Dean.
“Brighton has completed the signing of Amario Cozier-Duberry,” Dean declared on social media. After leaving Arsenal as a free agent, the academy product of Arsenal has signed to a four-year contract.

Early in July, Cozier-Dubbery, a standout player from Arsenal’s Hale End academy, left the team after turning down a new contract offer. Upon his arrival at Arsenal in 2019 at the age of 14, he quickly won over supporters and coaches with his exceptional performances. As a result, clubs in Belgium, the Netherlands, France, Germany, and England expressed interest in signing him. Brighton ultimately prevailed in getting his signature, as transfer guru Fabrizio Romano verified on Sunday.
Romano reported via social media that Cozier-Duberry chose to sign with Brighton following his departure from Arsenal, with the Seagulls providing a clear pathway to first-team opportunities for the talented winger.
During his time with Arsenal’s academy, Cozier-Duberry made 24 appearances, scoring 13 goals and providing five assists. He also featured on the bench for the senior team in their 1-0 away win against Brentford in the Carabao Cup and the 2-0 Champions League group stage home win against Sevilla. Arsenal fans had high hopes for his imminent first-team breakthrough.
In addition to Cozier-Duberry, highly-rated defender Reuell Walters has also left the club. Walters made 23 appearances for Arsenal’s academy last season and earned his debut for England U20s. He was on the bench for eight Premier League matches and was an unused substitute in Arsenal’s Champions League group stage match against PSV Eindhoven.
Arsenal expressed their best wishes for the departing players in a statement on the club’s website, saying, “We wish Reuell and Amario the best in their future careers.”
