Eight Arkansas Razorbacks Named to CSCAA Scholar All-America Team for 2023-2024 Season

The College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) has recognized the academic and athletic excellence of eight Arkansas Razorbacks by naming them to the Scholar All-America Team for the 2023-2024 season. This prestigious honor highlights the dedication and hard work these student-athletes have demonstrated both in the pool and in the classroom.

The eight Razorbacks honored by the CSCAA are:

    1. Kasey Stephenson
    2.Olivia Gaston
    3. Sophie Hannam
    4. Madeline Mann
    5. Grace Walker
    6. Emma Hultquist
    7. Ella Stryker
    8. Lillian Thompson

To be selected for the CSCAA Scholar All-America Team, student-athletes must have achieved a GPA of 3.50 or higher and have competed in their respective NCAA Championship. This dual achievement underscores the Razorbacks’ commitment to excelling in both their academic pursuits and their athletic endeavors.

Arkansas head coach, Neil Harper, expressed his pride in the team’s accomplishments, stating, “Our student-athletes work incredibly hard to balance the demands of rigorous academics with the commitment required for elite-level competition. Being named to the Scholar All-America Team is a testament to their dedication, discipline, and time management skills. We are immensely proud of their achievements.”

The recognition from the CSCAA not only celebrates the individual accomplishments of these athletes but also reflects the broader culture of academic and athletic excellence that the University of Arkansas strives to cultivate within its sports programs.

The Arkansas Razorbacks continue to set a high standard for student-athletes across the nation, proving that success in sports and academics can go hand in hand. This accolade from the CSCAA is a well-deserved acknowledgment of their hard work and perseverance.
