Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s son signs first professional contract with AC Milan

Maximilian, the son of former Manchester United player Zlatan Ibrahimovic, has signed his first professional deal with AC Milan, making his father delighted.

Even though the charming icon of the game was only at United for a year and a half, the Swede had a significant influence.

He was a player for some of the biggest teams in the world, including Manchester United, FC Barcelona, Ajax, and both Milan clubs.

In 53 appearances for the Old Trafford team between 2016 and 2017, the now 42-year-old scored a very respectable 29 goals and won the League Cup and Europa League.

He left Manchester to play for LA Galaxy, where he amassed a ton of goals, and then ended his playing career with AC Milan, where he is currently a senior advisor to the team’s ownership.

According to The Sun, one of the Ibrahimovics’ progeny may be ready to create a name for himself internationally.

“Maximilian Ibrahimovic, the son of Manchester United legend Zlatan Ibrahimovic, has inked his first professional contract.”

“The 17-year-old and AC Milan, his father’s former team, have agreed on a contract.”

He will play for “Milan’s brand new ‘Futuro’ youth squad in the third tier of Italian football,” according to his contract, which runs until 2027.
He is a quick winger who has scored three goals in 19 games for the U18 team, in contrast to his father who established his reputation as a massive yet deft center striker.

Maybe he may pair up with some of his father’s old United colleagues in the future.

The sons of Michael Carrick and Wayne Rooney, Kai and Jacey, are presently involved in the club’s under-14 division.

Nearer to the senior team, Jack and Tyler Fletcher, the children of Darren Fletcher, play for the club’s under-18 team. Last Monday, in a preseason game against Rosenborg, Jack played 45 minutes for the first team. His goal is to travel to the United States of America for the club’s preseason tour.
