It was no surprise that the Chicago Sky’s team talent show, which was captured on Instagram by rookie duo Angel Reese and Kamilla Cardoso, sent WNBA fans into a frenzy. The most memorable scene came when Cardoso debuted a shocking new look, drawing quite the reaction from her All-Star teammate.

Not only did the Brazilian get a gender-bending makeover, she accompanied it with an incredible musical performance, both evoking images of teenage heartthrob Justin Bieber in the late 2000s.
Meanwhile, Reese judged the team talent show on her Instagram story (the winning act was a hilarious Sky Town remit of Destiny’s Child’s “Bills, Bills, Bills”) and also gave her verdict about Cardoso’s new look.
“I’m gonna say keep it on!” she says in a one-second story, zoomed in on Kamilla A.K.A Justin.
Cardoso also offered her feelings on social media, reposting the video of her singing Bieber’s smash hit “Baby” on X with the caption “new hair, who’s this?”
When does the Chicago Sky play next in WNBA?
It’s back to business for the Chicago Sky, who reconvened for practice this week after the players got some time off during the WNBA mid-season break for the Olympics.
Reese spent her vacation on a European adventure that took her from London to Paris, following Team USA men’s and women’s basketball teams at the 2024 Paris Olympics.
Clearly, just because the team was back in practice did not mean the fun had to end. The bonding and support developed by Reese and Cardoso will do the Sky lots of good as they return to action on August 15th against the Phoenix Mercury, with a 10-14 record and 16 games left to secure a playoff position.
