Heavy metal legends Judas Priest have officially announced the beginning of their final chapter, unveiling plans for a massive 2026 world tour and a brand-new studio album that promises to deliver the band’s signature sound—pure, classic fire.
The announcement was made on the band’s official social media accounts early Monday morning, setting off a tidal wave of emotion among longtime fans. Titled “One Last Ride”, the farewell tour will begin in the UK in February 2026 before expanding to over 40 cities across Europe, North America, South America, and Asia. The tour will mark the band’s last major global trek after more than five decades of electrifying performances.
In addition to the tour, Judas Priest will release a new album in early 2026. Though the title is still under wraps, the band promises it will be a powerful return to their classic heavy metal roots. Lead vocalist Rob Halford described the album as “fueled by the spirit of our earliest records, but sharpened by everything we’ve learned through the decades.”
The band’s current lineup—Halford, Richie Faulkner, Ian Hill, Scott Travis, and Andy Sneap—is expected to remain intact for both the album and tour, bringing continuity and full-force energy to this final era.
