In anticipation of the 2024 college football season, Dabo Swinney and the Clemson Tigers are preparing for their Week 1 matchup against the Georgia Bulldogs on August 31.

Clemson has been let down over the last few years. This season, they want to prove that they are once again a serious contender for the College Football Playoffs.

They will need a lot more players to step up if they are to do that. They have a wealth of youthful talent that will be essential. roles across many different positions.

Bryant Wesco, a freshman wide receiver, is one important young player who has emerged as one to watch.

Not only has he drawn attention from the media, but in a recent interview, Swinney himself opened out and raved about the rookie wideout.

He is simply more advanced than T.J. Moore. Once more, this is his third installation cycle. and he is stronger and around twelve pounds heavier.

Wesco is in a wonderful spot and has arrived to camp looking really well.

“He’s had a really good few days. I would like him to have been a little more consistent with a couple balls. He needs to complete a few balls for us. However, he is still a wonderful child who enjoys playing and is teachable.”

Wesco and T.J. Moore, Clemson’s youthful wide receiver tandem, must give them optimism. It’s obvious that Swinney is thrilled about them both.

“There are two excellent young people in our group. Wesco can definitely go play today. That kind of insight is his. He is aware of what to do. He doesn’t break assignments or other such stuff. He’s a youngster who’s trapped in. He has been here once more since January.”

Hopefully, Wesco and Moore can have the kind of influence that they are capable of. If they do, the passing game from 2023 ought to be significantly better.

This season, Cade Klubnik will be a big question mark for the Tigers, but his job will be made much simpler if he has two outstanding young wide receivers wrecking havoc on rival defenses.
