ESPN has released a new two-round NFL mock draft featuring four Michigan players.
The NFL mock drafts are being reviewed and updated now that Senior Bowl week is finished. Although J.J. McCarthy is still a top-round talent, a few of his Michigant teammatesmightbe close behind him.
Three Wolverines are selected as second-round picks in the 2024 NFL Draft by ESPN’s Matt Miller, whose most recent two-round mock draft was released on Monday.
Leading the second-round group is defensive tackle Kris Jenkins, who will go No. 47 to the New York Giants. The Giants acquired the pick by trading defensive end Leonard Williams to the Pacific Northwest, along with the pick from the Seattle Seahawks. Jenkins might therefore be a desirable selection choice for the Giants.
“Jenkins played more 5-technique in 2023 after moving all over the Michigan defensive line, but his burst and power flashes make me think his best football is still ahead of him once he can shoot gaps and make plays in the backfield,” says Miller.
