Using PFF, comparing Florida’s offensive line acquisitions to the roster for 2023.
I was asked to compare the Pro Football Focus grades from Florida’s transfer portal class to the Gators’ 2023 roster by a member of Gator Country. I will be dissecting each position group in this series, which will consist of several parts. The offensive line is first in line.
On December 17, Brandon Crenshaw-Dickson, an offensive tackle for San Diego State, became the Gators’ first offseason transfer portal pledge.
In 2024, Crenshaw-Dickson will begin his final year of collegiate football. The senior, who played both left and right tackle for the Aztecs, totaled 2,410 snaps during his 36 career starts at San Diego State. The 6’6″, 310-pound offensive tackle finished the 2023 season with a pass block grade of 77.3, good for 55th place among FBS linemen.
Devon Manuel, an offensive tackle from Arkansas, was the Gators’ second offseason commitment on the offensive line. In 2023, Manuel participated in nine Razorbacks games and saw 417 snaps, all at left tackle. The Florida Gators will give the 6’9, 310 offensive tackle two seasons to play.
