But there is no proof that Campbell ever made these remarks or discussed the sideline exchange between Reid and Kelce in public.

While the game was still in progress, the @NFLonCBS account on X shared a video of the heated exchange between Reid and Kelce on the sidelines.
Following the Chiefs’ 25-22 victory over the San Francisco 49ers, Kelce responded to an ESPN query regarding what he had said to Reid at that precise moment while still on the court.
“Oh, that was seen by you guys?” grinned Kelce. “I’m going to keep it between us unless my ‘Mic’d Up’ tells the world but I was just telling him how much I love him.”
After the game, Reid made another comment regarding Kelce’s outburst, joking that it caught him off surprise and adding, “He keeps me young.”
In an episode of the “New Heights” podcast that was published on February 14, Kelce added more comments. Kelce and his brother, former center Jason Kelce of the Philadelphia Eagles, host the podcast.
Travis Kelce acknowledged to his brother throughout the incident that he had “crossed the line.”
“I have a specific relationship with Reid,” Kelce continued.
On December 25, 2023, while watching a home loss to the Las Vegas Raiders, Kelce was seen on camera tossing his helmet. According to USA Today, Reid then stepped in to urge a staff member not to return his helmet to him.
As a warning, Reid, well known by his moniker “Big Red,” ran into Kelce. This was reminiscent of how Reid and Kelce would subsequently cross paths at Super Bowl LVIII.
